It's about a 15 minute walk from Time Square.
Where do I begin...? We arrived early to the hotel not thinking it would be a problem to check-in early. Wrong! There were about 20 people waiting and luggage everywhere! We could barely open the lobby door. So they mad us wait until 3pm on the dot to strat the check-in process. We go up stairs to the 10th floor to our surprise the room was right next to the elevator. I had booked a king and she had given us a double. When I called down she said we don't have any available at this time. I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of a reservation! Anyways, the room was ridiculously small, the remote to the tv was broken, there were like marks all over the walls, the hangers were broken, I lost an earring in the shower because there was no filter on the drain, I went to use the microwave and it made this really loud sound at lik 4am I thought I woke everyone up on my floor, the cleaning staff came in and possibly changed the sheets but nothing else. They didn't even change the drinking glasses that were used and reused the whole trip. Also, we were on our way out one day and the cleaning lady squeezed on the elevator with a cart that reaked of garbage. Shouldn't they be using a service elevator?! Overall the hotel was tiny!! The staff weren't that bad, just not on top of things. The location wasn't terrible but for $150+ a night you can do way better!!
Rooms are very confortable and good position.
The room was very comfortable and clean, I could not really fault it! Great option for the price, location, and general standard of accommodation.
The room was a little small- but only really because the bed was so huge.
The staff was very friendly.
We booked and paid for a king room but had to stay in a double. The beds were small so we had to sleep seperately with our feet hanging off the bed.
Good position, two blocks from the subway. Staff was very kind. Very comfortable bed.
Think who did the cleaning could have been a bit more precise.
1. Way too expensive even for ny standard, given the location and room sizes (I paid $250 per night and still almost could not fit on a chair placed tightly between the bed and the table). 2. Booked.net description said the room would have refrigerator and microwawe, but it did not. When I complained, the manager insisted he has no responsibility for what "other websites" say about the rooms and that I should have booked directly through them instead (but promised they would correct the Booked.net entry). After some arguing, he offered free breakfast, but no discount. When leaving, he offered 15 % discount for next stay, but I am pretty sure next time I will rather choose another hotel. 3. Internet connection was sometimes very slow and sometimes did not work at all.
Limited wi-fi access
Overall the stay was great! Great friendly smiles from the staff. The housekeeping did a great job.
Personnell was extremely kind and helpful.
The area is somewhat depressing.
nice hotel and very close to the centre
tv did not work..but we never had time to see anyway..
Great value and excellent location.walking distance to all major attractions and a subway ride to the statue of liberty. I would recommend this to everyone.
Awesome location. Friendly staff. Crazy low prices.
None-- size of room was small, but it was clean, well equipped and quiet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was really convenient for since I needed to be close to the Javits Convention Center.
Unfortunately, my room could use a little bit more cleaning. I had noticed the sheet on my bed had some set-in stains on one of the corners. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until the last night of my stay. I immediately replaced it with the sheet from the other unoccupied bed. I also noticed that the bed skirt was not changed for some time considering that there was a set in mark of a shoe print on the corner of it. I don't think the bathroom was ever mopped during my stay since the same dirt on the floor was there before I left and when I came back.
This is a corporate low end hotel with boutique pretensions. Poor maid service, cheap towels and bath amenities. very small room. burned lamp shade. Few hangers in wardrobe. Advertised and supplied bathrobes but one had no belt/ tie. Elevator was out of repair one night. Booked a king bed got a queen bed.
Had a great stay; room was small but the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on & great shower made for a very comfortable stay & great location to walk mid-town & south central park.
